Algonquin Pines Campground — Reviews

The park was clean and quiete and the owners and staff very friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms and showers were close and clean. We took full advantage of the Dwight beach which is a 5 minute drive away. Our stay was great and we will be back.

Lovely RV park, we found our site easily on the detailed map, found the site to be clean and roomy for our 12' camper, pop up change room, dining tent two kayaks and our truck. The trees and greenery between the sites gave a beautiful privacy fence. Our only minus was the washrooms, when we first arrived I went to the ladies room and a young girl had been trapped inside the washroom as the big door had closed and wedged shut even I had a very hard time to open it, the bathroom wasn't very clean when we arrived at 2:00, my husband also found the washrooms less than perfect because of the size of the stalls and cleanliness.

Staff was welcoming and provided map for site location. Site was very clean. Hook ups were in good working order. Washrooms were also very clean and easy accessible. Playground, soccer field , basketball court and volleyball net were well kept. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

This CG is very close to Park entrance. The personnel at the front desk and driving the honey wagon were excellent, providing assistance, directions, recommendations, etc. This is a quiet campground. Sites mostly level and set well apart providing privacy, unlike many CGs. Bathroom and showers very good. Only downside was no wifi at sites, had to go to covered pavilion. Also, every Wed during summer there is a very diversified farmer's market literally across the street (walk there) and it was excellent, at least 50 booths.

Lovely park

Park was great. We had some very noisy neighbours, but other than that we had a great stay. Staff was very friendly and always willing to help. Park was very clean. Will definitely return for another stay.

Friendly staff, clean campsites and beautiful scenery.

Staff at check in were friendly & helpful. A singer/guitar player performed for 2 hrs & was quite enjoyable. Ladies bathroom garbage was overflowing & could use a good cleaning. One of showers was full of mud

Attendant at check in was very attentive and courteous. Park is clean and well organized.
