Stayed in the waterfront cabin. Note the cabin door does not lock. Very close to the bathroom/showers which was nice. Cabin does get very hot so while we had fairly nice weather, could be unpleasant at 80+ degrees in July/August. Felt a little expensive for the accommodations.

It was a nice campground, but no activities or socializing going on.

The campground was very quiet. Loved having a water site.

Bathrooms, cleaning station and laundry facilities were wonderful and clean. The internet was very frustrating.

The sites are not being maintained. The dog park was not mowed and the grass was tall. There is no WiFi.

We loved it here. Nice and quiet. The cabin was great! Even though it rained was still a good time

This place was an absolute hidden gem. The sites were fantastic and private even for tent sites. There is a wealth of amenities here from an on location restaurant, to a lake for water activities. The staff were all exceptionally welcoming and polite. We stayed at quite a few locations on our trip, and this was the best, hands down. Thank you Balsam Cove Campground, if we had known you existed before, we would have planned our trip around you.

The campground is centrally located to Bar Harbor, Deer Isle, Camden and all the quaint villages in the area. It was very well kept and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
