    Bar Harbor Campground is under new ownership who are clearly investing in upgrades and upkeep. This gem is close to Bar Harbor and Acadia and everything else you may want to visit. Staff was helpful and nice. Water was great. We will stay here again.

    Great sites with plenty of space between them. A less-than- ideal schedule of bathroom cleaning (and closure) at 07:15 am in what is probably a peak usage time is not very customer oriented. Most campgrounds seem to schedule cleaning after the morning rush and do the necessary maintenance usually after 09:30 or later. Bar Harbor CG does so many things well, this area was a bit disappointing.

    Although a big, corporate -owned campground, the sites are not all jammed together as often happens - state parks in particular- e.g. Michigan State Parks being one of the most egregious examples

    The location was fantastic. We were able to take the shuttle straight from the campground to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The view from the pool and playground are also beautiful. I would most definitely camp there again.

    Beautiful campground. Bus service all around the area, including into Bar Harbor. Only a few miles from Acadia National Park. Level sites, laundry, pool.

    Stunning views in a beautiful location. Nice, clean, quiet, safe campground. Walkable to two great restaurants. Helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and come back again!

    Nice large and clean site in C Loop. Nice view atop the hill. Laundry facilities very nice. The pool was not heated due to pending part replacement, which hopefully will be repaired soon.

    We chose the wrong camp spot for our trailer. That was our fault. We were in a field. Didn’t like it. Other than that our stay was wonderful.

    We had a great time despite the weather. Nice areas to walk and explore. We had a little difficulty leveling our camper as our site was sloped. Very nice staff that were helpful with any questions that I had. Would stay there again.

    Nice campground and very friendly staff. The sites in the full hookup section are on a hill and can be difficult to level the camper. The Staff was very accommodating allowing a site change and supplying wood blocks to assist with leveling. The location was perfect for our daily trips into Bar Harbor Village and Acadia.
