Well kept, spacious sites and friendly staff

Great location and facilities

Beautiful spot with a perfect view of the sunrise!

Perfect area for tourism

Ok camping spot but expensive daily rate. For the price I think could have easily provided free showers. Also some camping spots were not very good but were the same experience price.

Campsite was small but clean, bathrooms were clean, we felt that with the price we paid per night showers should have been free. Campsite quiet. Appreciated the bus to take around Acadia and town.

I found some of the stuff to be kind of rude upon check-in when I asked for clarification on some of the rules. For the price, I’m surprised that you charge for showers. One gentleman didn’t have a quarter, after hours he only had a $20 bill and came into the laundry room to use the change machine so he could take a shower. I didn’t have change for 20, and I had already used up all my quarters on the laundry, but I was able to lay on the ground for him to use. Seems kind of cheap to charge for showers. I’m sure you have a reason for it, but I have never encountered that before and that is why I gave it the rating I did. Our stay was very nice, it’s a beautiful area. Plenty of garbage cans, the playground and pool is very nice, even though we didn’t use them. Enjoyed the dog trails. Beautiful location unfortunately we didn’t get time to play shuffleboard although that was another nice perk that we did not make time for. Maybe next time.🙏🏻 I wanted to also mention that one day I came in and met with an older lady who is very kind and sweet and gave my dog a treat, which was very much appreciated. I would definitely have an extra star if you had an off lease dog area. Most dogs enjoy visiting with other dogs to play and get exercise. That’s always a bonus. So many people are traveling with pets these days, catering to them might be wise and lucrative.

Great staff. Clean restrooms. Only recommendation is that check you site as some are far from restrooms.

It used to be our favorite camping spot, but now under the new owners this place is managed by the computers not the people. Office staff is very rude and they are not willing to make any reasonable accommodations to make your stay better.

Campground was wonderful for traveling with young kids. Awesome playground and pool. Bath house was very clean.

Amenities were SPOTLESS, very impressed with this campground. No wonder they’re one of the most highly rated spots in Bar Habor. The overall ambiance sets a “moody harbor town” feel. There was plenty of trash receptacles around the site. The pool was spotless, warm, and welcoming. The playground was great for my son who loved roaming around and playing with the other children. It was a very family friendly campground. Not to mention….they’re attached to an Ice cream shop!! Overall my experience here was fantastic, If you know how to back a camper into a site - you’ll have no issues here. Electric and water were close and conveniently located. Fire pits in every site - with firewood for purchase at the main office. They have the basic essentials located in the office too - I had to pick up some black tank pods for my RV because I had none. Every night people are having fires, laughing, and cooking. The smells throughout the campsite will make you hungry. Early in the morning you can still enjoy a bit of peace and quiet while your kids are sleeping - the quiet hours are until 8 AM. My neighbors were super friendly and we loved talking with them and getting to know them more. I would recommend this campsite to anyone looking! I don’t write this review lightly - I’m very picky about where I stay. So this review in itself should be enough to persuade you to stay here!
