Sites are tight and close together. Lots of golf carts. However, we go there to see the blugrass music festivals and spend most of our time listening to the music. We always have a good time.

We arrived after the office closed. The "Packets" that were supposed to be available were not. The space next to our assigned space was a mess. The fire pit was missing. Nev er saw a camp employee. And, to make matters worse, much worse, the Dump Station tanks were full to over flowing. Had to haul my RV with full Black Water tanks to another RV park and pay for a dump station.

We had lovely neighbors, around our favorite campsite. The leaves were turning; the view down down the ravine was amazing. My wife commented several times how quiet the campgrounds was. We did not want to leave for home.

Our power went out twice, after it was repaired the first time and went out again we plugged in to the box in the next lot that was not being used.

I stayed July 6-31st. I had a serious motorcycle crash on the 26th and was released from the hospital July 31st. I broke all of my right ribs, scapula, clavicle, ankle and collapsed my lung. I got to my rv site 214 at 11am and was rudely greeted by camp staff informing me to get out, I'm late. I got no help hooking my rv up ( I could barely move) and was told they would drag it to storage because there was a festival Aug 1st. I re-injured my scapula moving. They had zero compassion for my screaming in pain, doing it all by myself. I was treated like garbage. I was a good camper, no problem until I called from the E.R. telling them I was not going to be out in time. They didn't care, said they would drag it away as per policy. Hateful people who only care about $$$. My stay was OK otherwise, because I didn't deal with the owners until I was seriously injured. The campground was pretty though.

It was great having a cabin for the Bill Monroe Bluegrass Festival. Located in the trees for shade we were comfortable to sit on the front porch or back porch in the porch swing. We are going to resere this cabin for next years festival.

Nice campground with a friendly staff. They had food trucks on the premises so I got food supplies with the intention of eating some meals at the trucks. The only problem was they left prior to the event ending. Not a hugh deal with a Dollar General minutes from the entrance. Just an annoyance. I would definitely stay there again either to attend a festival or to visit the brown county business area.
