All of my interactions with the staff were very pleasant. Our campsite number 64 was pretty level and shaded all day long. we enjoyed a round of miniature golf. We did not use the swimming pool or the go karts, but everything looked very nice and well maintained. There is a walking/biking trail in the woods that I took advantage of for long walks with my dog. It is in close proximity to a nice paved bike trail that runs between Holland and Grand Haven. Also, it is very close to downtown Grand Haven, where there is a fantastic beach and many dinning options.

We were placed on a newly graveled pad and utilities were a bit far for our camper as they are placed between 2 sites for sharing. I had the understanding upon selection that I was reserving a concrete pad. A bit confusing.

The only thing that I would change would be to ask for a full concrete site rather than 114 which was dirt. It rained and that was a mess !

We had a great time! clean park and pool for kids and adults. Our site didn’t have grass so a little messier then I wanted but we got through it. We ate ice cream, played putt putt and went on the go carts for the first time. This is now our favorite campground.

I know it's a new owner and he's really trying to change things, showers have no pressure, one day cold next scalding, shower curtains don't cover completely, door to shower doesn't cover completely either. Internet would be awesome, even if at extra cost to camper. Drop off on our concrete pad could have been a fall risk, again they were working on other sites to fix it. That was also an issue, early morning, before 9, lawn mower, leaf by, weed Wacker, we go camping to have peace and quiet, I understand getting spots ready for next camper but check in is 3, even with their early check in they could adjust this. Overall we enjoyed our time, would like to see a dog park. Will be back next year to see improvements.

My wife and I really enjoyed our first stay here. This campground is well maintained. The full hookups and concrete patio were nice but the campground still has that camping feeling that a lot of modern campgrounds are lacking these days. We’ll definitely be staying here again.
