This was our first ever travel trailer camping. The campground was quiet, clean and beautiful. There seemed to be a lot to do. We just weren’t able to enjoy everything due to the immense amount of rain. Would love to stay again when the weather was better

The power went out due to a storm before I left to go to the campsite, so I decided not to go (it was projected to be out for several days, which it was). Camp Dearborn would not give me a refund and was frankly rude about the situation. They told me that so many people were asking for refunds and they’re not doing it. That gives you a peek at how they are. I definitely will not be reserving time there ever again.

Pretty noisy and very buggy.. I know the bugs come with the summer and Midwest, but bits are massive.

We went there with our 18 months toddler. I loved the vibes and the ammenities there. My baby loved the play areas, beach and pool. But one thing which I really don't like was so dirty clothes wrapped on the beds and the whole cabin was full of dirt and the spider webs. People go there for relaxing and enjoying their time, not to do the same cleaning what they are doing at home, even after paying for approx. $200 + tax for the rustic cabin (J03) for 2 nights. I hope the people responsible for taking care of the hygiene and cleanliness should kindly take this responsibility seriously. People coming with the kids paying that much so that they can relax there with their kids. So please atleast give some basic cleaning in the cabin with no spider web on windows and on the bench in shade. Also kindly put the clean clothes wrapped on the beds. Those are so bad that it feels like I was visiting a 1970 jail cabin closed after a war. So overall I was having a mix feeling of happiness (due to the ammenities) and sadness (unhygienic cabins) after visiting the camp dearborn rustic cabin. This is a honest review being a mother I felt. Thanks.

Multiple inconsistent information. Was not informed about daily activities at rec area. Pool closed early for storm. I called main number twice later to find out if they had reopened was told no, closed for rest of day. Found out at 6:55 they had reopened earlier. My granddaughter was very upset. Planned to do golf, station 35 said opened at 11:00. Went there, was closed until 1:00Again granddaughter very sad, had to leave to go home. No water on site, no one knew where drinking water was.
