The nice parts were we had a site that was on the lower level very close to the water. The water was crystal clear and cool. Everyone was enjoying the water. There was always a great breeze keeping the bugs away. Couple of concerns was no potable water at the camp , you have to bring your own. The showers were over a KLM to ride my bike to. Nice and clean camp. I would return.

We usually go with friends and always get sites 193-196. Beautiful sites, but why is the grass never cut back and trimmed on these sites. We always end up bringing our own trimmers to get rid of the long grass? Also, why is the beach drive not paved all the way around, with a few speed bumps. These are little things I know, but I would give it a 5* if done.

Thank you for your comments. These sites are very popular and they are always occupied. People often show up early for their reservations and our maintenance staff do not have a chance to maintain the sites between visitors. Also, we have a lot of Canada Geese on the road along the beach so they naturally slow traffic down. :-)

Great campsite. Good location with sufficient amenities. We went on July long weekend so it was noisy at times due to the crowd but overall good experience. The porta potty doors kept slamming and that kept us up a bit as we were quite close to them. However porta potties were clean and not smelly at all, which was unexpected, and they were cleaned out frequently. Most sites seem to have muddy spots by the car areas but the sleeping/ tent areas seem alright. I do wish the fire pits come with a grille for cooking.

Was good, only complaint was screaming children at 2am, 4am, 5am, 6am.... But that wasn't the parks fault. Just one family who ignored there child all night.

The location of the park is second to none. The roads are paved reducing dust and the staff are helpful.

Nice atmosphere, amazing staff, quiet and respectful Neighbors. Little bit of construction but nice to see they're making upgrades. On top of all that the beautiful scenery is just something you need to experience for yourself. We'll definitely be back!
