Country Roads Campground — Reviews

The cabin we stayed in was so nice and perfect for this weekend because it was raining the whole time. Despite the rain we had a great time! Everything was very clean. We had our own bathroom but took showers up at the bath house. If we needed anything for the weekend the owner was right there to help us. There is a Cidery down the road maybe 10 minutes which was such a good time. I love this campground. It is my home away from home.

Very nice campground quiet and lots of space

Extremely friendly staff and guests, very family friendly atmosphere, huge tent sites!!! Clean, well stocked bathrooms, fun weekend activities for all ages, heated pool and hot tub to relax in. Great WiFi signal throughout for those of you who need to stay connected. The camp store was fully stocked with all the essentials and some really fun stuff for the kids, they have a slushy machine!! So fun!! Cute little arcade with a pool table and even a laundry room. If I could leave any corrective criticism it would be to post directions and price for showers, they are very difficult to use and come with no instruction. They are also hit or miss when it comes to working. Also, pump out the porto potties more often, they were very full when we arrived on Friday and just got worse as the weekend went on. The map showed a blue "T" across from our site which was noted as a toilet in the map key. No such toilet existed. Neither of these things will prevent us from visiting again, we truly had a fabulous experience, BEST ROASTED CORN I HAVE EVER TASTED!!!!!

The cabin was clean and well maintained with a bathroom and heat, which we turned out to need. The staff and all of the people there were extremely nice and helpful.

We stayed a week at Country Roads Campground and really enjoyed our time. The campground is well-maintained, with beautiful scenery and clean facilities. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A heads-up: there isn’t much around the area, and the closest big-chain grocery store (Walmart) is about 45 minutes away, so it’s best to come stocked up for your stay. Firewood is available on-site and nearby, and there are a couple of charming farm stands in the area. Overall, a peaceful, well-kept spot if you’re looking to relax and enjoy the scenery!
