This is a fantastic campsite with an excellent view of the Kentucky river. Wish we had more time there. Weekend activities look to be fun. As of today, their pool is not up and running yet, but it should be by next week. The campground gave excellent instructions prior to arrival. Be sure to follow those exactly as listed. Firewood was pretty cheap. Fire rings at each site. Not all sites are completely level, so make sure you have extra blocking to get level. I would definitely camp here again.

I would give it a five stars but the campsite looked like it was just off of Interstate 64. It was actually 45 minutes! We had been on the road for 5 hours so that 45 minute drive was not appreciated. The road to get to the campsite was whiny and very very narrow. The campsite itself was very good, the people were friendly. I would also make a suggestion to have your store hours opened at 9:00 and have them stay open a little later in the evening. 10:00 to 6:00 store hours doesn't work for those that are leaving early and for those that get in after 5:00 and our only staying for one night.

Even after a major flood, it was great. They delivered wood for the site, which was helpful. However, they had to see that the fire pit had 6” of water in it. Would have been nice for them to prep it for us. We used a solo stove instead, luckily we had it. Would 100% return!

We will definitely be visiting again! The sites are well-maintained and the staff is so friendly. The camp store is adorable and the laundry facilities are clean. They deliver firewood and ice directly to your campsite! Our plan is to go back when it's warmer so the kids can enjoy the pool and kayaking the Kentucky river. Thanks for a great stay!

1st trip with our camper. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Weather was cold and snowy so did not get to experience everything it had to offer but will definitely be back in the spring.
