I camped here a lot during my childhood, and even though this campground doesn't have a lot of amenities, is simple and sweet and beautiful.. We always have such a great time!

Wonderful campground! Grandkids had a great time. We had one incident with other campers' teenage boys who decided to fish in the middle of our campsite in the early morning hours, and we had to explain that we did not appreciate strangers roaming our campsite especially with small children and while we were sleeping. I would like to suggest that there be more park staff available to patrol the areas. Other than that, it was a good stay

It was a nice quiet peaceful spot and the water was beautiful. We could not get into the spot we reserved and the camp host Shelly was kind enough to offer some other options that were available the 6 nights we needed. The only negatives for us was that there are seasonal here that most likely spend weekends only at their campsite but they leave all kinds of party lights etc. On day and night. Really spoils the atmosphere for those of us trying to stargaze or sit around a campfire in darkness. There is always some light shining in your eyes. And it's a total waste of energy. I'm sure they don't do this at home. Their attitude is electric is included so what the heck. Very rude to their camping neighbors and a strain on our environment.

We had ants really bad at our site. The grass could have been cut. It was really tall in most places. The shower houses could have been cleaner. It was a good place for peace and quiet.

No toilet paper in men’s bathroom one afternoon No supervision of the rules. Especially Speeding constantly- One camper pulled his waste from the turn around and left a trail for everyone to walk and bike on

This campground is beautiful!!! Spot #11 & #12 right on the water with so much area to setup in. Perfect for birthday weekend with friends in next to us. Only thing negative is I didn’t see any water on the sites, but it was listed to have it. The host were super friendly and easy to access! Definitely making plans to come again!

I love the location of this campground, but the hookups are not conveniently located and the bathrooms are screaming for a good cleaning.

We have stayed at Fooshee for several years. This was by far our best stay ever. Lloyd and Shelley are the most accommodating and caring hosts that we have ever encountered at Fooshee. In the past, we have had a host or two that made us never want to return.
