My mom used to take us there camping when we were young and we had a great time Only thing I would say is wish we could set up earlier like 2 pm not much time once You set tent and stuff for day light when coming in at 4 pm

My family and I love this park! The lake is beautiful. The trails are fantastic and the campsites are big and nice. New shower house was a bonus! The parks are so much fun and there’s a big wide open field to play in and a bike trail too! Caught some fish, kayaked and enjoyed a beautiful sunset and a sunrise on a sunrise hike. Easy to get your kayaks in and out of the lake. Bathrooms are close enough. Bring some extra TP if you’re using the pit toilet because it runs out. My family had campsites, the cabin, and also the new wagon. Everything was top-notch!

The camp host was very polite and helpful. The park was very calm and relaxing even thought it was a holiday weekend. The shower house was very clean and well taken care of. We love Fowler Park and will definitely be back. It is one of our top 3 favorite places to camp. We love having water hook-up and having septic hook-up would make it our #1place!!

Goose poop everywhere. Beach only open 12-6. Check out time Sunday too early. State parks is 5:00 on Sundays.

The sight was clean and spacious. Camped with a 98 Winnebago at 34' still had space for a spare vehicle . Fire ring in great condition . Bathrooms were ALWAYS clean and sanitary . Plenty of trails and fishing . The camp hosts were very pleasant and kind . Only downside was the road noise over the weekend. The swimming was great for the kiddos and myself. All In all my family and I will be back come fall !
