Green Valley RV Park — Reviews

Plus: Brand new park, sites are very roomy and clean; Five minute drive to The Museum of the Air Force, 10 minutes to major shopping area; Easy access to highways. Minus: Sites are reverse-angled, making parking a big 5er difficult; Water hookups are below ground, making attachment difficult, and multiple per site in areas for parking vehicles leading to broken covers; They decided installing a dog park was of higher priority than installing bath/showers/laundry; Wi-fi was fine for first 2 nights, then disappeared for the next 5 days; No office on site to get help with the wi-fi; It's a brand new park, but there are already permanent residents. Would we go here again? Yes, but only with our own internet connection.

Green Valley RV Park is a quiet no-frills campground conveniently located near grocery, shopping, and restaurants. The park is clean and level. We will stay here again.

They were very welcoming when we had a later arrival and they helped us without any problems. Campground is brand new.

Looks like the park has a lot of improvements completed and more in the process, good job.

Big sites and was nice & quiet.

Nice spot for a night or two when seeing the sights in Dayton. Easy access off Hwy 4 and having full hookups was very convenient. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the road noise from Valley Street, one particularly ignorant person seemed intent on rev’ing up his LOUD motorcycle right across the street, then racing up & down the street from early evening until midnight.

The campground is still under construction. Some road noise as it is right off a main road. Very convenient location. RV site was a good size. Stopped in for a long road trip. Will return easy access to the air and space museum. Easy check in.

Site was good size, easy to get into and well maintained.

Too much noise from the traffic on the street behind us.

Space was decent and everything worked. We needed an overnight stay near Dayton. Not much scenery. Right on the main road, beside a trailer park. It met our needs, but probably wouldn't stay again.

Very convenient but also loud. The road was behind our site (1) and cars seemed to race at night.

Good location to air force museum

The stay was comfortable - completely electronic check-in We only used 50A service, not the rest of the FHU, but the power was clean and reliable. There is no cable, but cell phone service was very good. The gravel surface was clean and very level, and the space was wide enough for the RV, an extended awning and the toad on the side. It is in an urban setting and the camp is in the process of being upgraded and repurposed from what I think was a pair of mobile home community streets, so there was some construction waste in view. There were no picnic tables for the upgraded sites yet. That said, I never felt unsafe, and there were several expensive rigs there - an Entegra Class A, a Newmar Kountry Star, a couple of 3-axle fifth wheels, some setup for longer stays. Location is actually easy to navigate in/out of and only a few minutes from the Dayton Mall. I would certainly recommend it for an overnight stay, maybe two - no amenities or ambience, but - frankly - I don't need them when I'm just passing through. I need easy in/out, FHU to work, and to feel safe. Green Valley delivered on all points. And the price was v ery appropriate for what it delivered.

Met our needs. Close to U of Dayton. Full hook up! Park is in construction mode. Potential to be very nice.

A Lot of Great Updates Happening ! Friendly helpful Host ! Had a few problems accessing WIFI , Can’t wait to see it when it’s completed .

It was convenient for what we were there for. Needs a lot of work. Electric was not right kept going on and off, the Wi-Fi was basically unusable. It was so loud with the traffic all day you could hardly hear each other talk and sleep was unattainable. This was not the park owners fault but people should be aware. The owners did give us a rebate for the electric problem and Wi-Fi issues which we appreciated. And no I probably wouldn’t stay there again unless absolutely necessary.
