Keen Lake Camping & Cottage Resort — Reviews

Our family had an amazing time ! The facilities were well maintained and operational , the grandkids were able to swim in the pool and beach area … playing in the playground The lake was very relaxing and tranquil, great for us to go paddle boarding …and with our dogs! The pet beach was great plus to our vacation…allowed the dogs to cool down and play ! Thank for a memorable experience!

The site 147 C was an absolute mud pit. It was on a huge slope so everything was slanted. Our firepit was submerged in water and mud. Our tent had to basically be half on my brothers site to the right. The left side had no space whatsoever because it was all bushes and trees to the left side. We weren’t able to set down any of our things or use our table. We spent the entire time on my brother and my friends site because of how bad it was. If we didn’t have them next to us we wouldn’t have had an opportunity to enjoy any of our stay there.

Beautiful campground. Lovely scenery. Well kept, clean. The staff and patrons are so nice. My only concern was some safety issues. There is a rather treacherous spillway or fall coming from the river into the stream. No posted signs or warnings to advise kayakers what's ahead. My heart sank when I saw younger children kayaking without adults. Other than that I loved the place!

Amazing campsite, beautiful place to camp.

Yellow Cottage was very clean and nice. Keen Lake facilities were fun for young kids. Lots to keep them busy. We had a nice family getaway.

We actually didn’t stay. I have a tiny trailer that is hard to back up and the spot I had didn’t allow me to back in straight. It was a very busy holiday weekend. If we had kids with us it would have been fun, but for two tired old ladies who had driven from California it was a bit much, plus were were only 60 miles from home so we just drove home. I would recommend it for people looking for fun, sports, activities, not peace. It is very crowded and lively and the backing up impossible for me. Three people offered to help us and they were kind but we decided there was no place like home that night.

We love Keen Lake! Always so clean, the staff are kind… just an awesome place to getaway! Wish we could have a full-time spot.
