Our spot was great but I was surprised at how crowded some of the areas were. Literally a parking lot. Be VERY aware of the spot you are reserving. Otherwise, staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean, pool was nice

Felt like a crowded parking lot instead of a campground. We liked the grist mill . Staff were very friendly.

The site was nice on the creek but it was a little “not teen” friendly. I went with 3 teen boys and myself and one other adult. It seemed the campground was really centered to no kids and older (middle aged) couples. The basketball they say is an amenity is just a hoop. I would return with my husband and no kids to explore Amish country but not for a fun weekend with kids. Definitely or that kind of place. Also the entire time we were there for 3 days we got to listen to the worker power wash picnic tables literally right next to our site. Needless to say in my opinion not very “family” friendly. And the power washer situation was unnerving and quite disruptive we couldn’t hear each other talk, yet when 3 teen boys made a little noice after quiet time someone complained.

No fenced dog run on site

Great little campground. Sites are on the smaller side. Employees are super nice and friendly. The store was nice but was kinda disappointed in the color selection on Sweatshirts was a bit lacking. On backside of campground the Amish farm had baby horses which the kids loved

Village Campground is a quaint, beautiful camping ground nestled right in the Lancaster area. The people were very nice. The campground was very clean but you were very close to your neighbors.

Playground was great. Service was great. Sites a little small and crowded. Bathhouse was outdated but clean. WiFi didn’t work. Plan to return in the fall!

It was quiet and peaceful and the staff were friendly and helpful! We enjoyed it so much, we stayed an extra night for this stay AND booked a trip to stay again in October with my sister and her husband! 😁 The horses next door were amazing with their foals.

We were seasonals for 10 years. Our grandkids grew up here. Best summer memories and it was our home away from home. We always come back. It has my heart.

Sunday afternoon the store and game room was closed

On our last 2 days at the resort, a bunch of cub scouts arrived around 10 pm. Kept us up past midnight pitching numerous tents and talking. We met them the following morning and they were very sweet and excited to be outside camping. They woke up early and we could hear them going back and forth to the restrooms and talking. I just wish I knew that they were arriving as I would have picked a quieter spot. And the tents were erected so close to the roadway, that it was very difficult to get our rig out and turn as we were towing a car also.

The service at the reception was courteous and friendly. Excellent locatiion and accommodation.. Really felt right at home and we enjoyed this campground very much.

Staff were friendly. Site was beautiful and well maintained.

We pulled a trailer behind our motorhome and they were very accommodating with the space we needed. Would recommend this campground.

Campgrounds are convenient to downtown Lancaster. The spots are close together so not as private as other campgrounds.

Zero trees and a very small plot of grass at our site. The fire ring was actually under our neighbors slide out. It was difficult to walk our dogs in the evening/night because of no lighting except near the camp store and dumpsters. We paid $28 to lock in our site when the campground was mostly empty.

Great place friendly people will come back again

This campground is located next to an Amish farm and bordered by the Pequea Creek. It is very charming and fits in well with the picturesque Lancaster County Amish feel. The Amish even visit the campground on Friday evenings to sell some of their baked goods and chocolate milk! We camped over the weekend before Halloween so there were family activities planned around that holiday. The staff was very cordial and helpful if needed. I would have given a 5 star rating except for the fact that there was a trio of campers that carried on way past the 10pm quiet time (until 3am!) on Friday and despite management talking to them about the issue, did the same again on Saturday evening. Hopefully they will never be allowed back here again. They even broke the water connection riser on their site Saturday evening causing a minor flood and no water service to the lower end of the campground for 3 hours until it was repaired!
