Or campsites were spacious and across the street from the Hodenpyle Pond. We plan on staying next year and for many years to come!!!

The park is very well maintained. The cabins are wonderful. The beach and lake are fantastic, but you should wear swim shoes as it's very rocky. If you want to star-gaze, be aware that there is considerable light pollution.

Camp sites were lake front with spectacular views of the lake. Bathrooms were the nicest cleanest and well-maintained facilities I have encountered in 25 yrs of camping. 50 min from Traverse City. 1 hr from Sleeping Bear Dunes.
