The park is beautiful and maintained better than any other park we have visited. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There is always a new project to beautify an already gorgeous park while maintaining the pristine landscape and grounds. We try to visit twice a year just to see what new projects are being built and the completed projects. The next two years are going to be very exciting for visitors and other guests. We can’t wait to see the park again later this year and next.

This was the best campground we have been to. They are friendly , very clean and it was beautiful. They kept up the landscaping so well. We will be coming back.

This is a very pristine campground so if that is your thing, you'll love it here. It was a bit over the top for my taste. Excessive rules made us feel like we couldn't relax. And every single morning starting at 9am there were young men using leaf blowers outside our campers for many hours. I watched them spend so much time moving one tiny leaf or twig, it was ridiculous. We had to talk loudly to hear each other, and forget about relaxing peace & quiet. I got the impression that someone is overly OCD and insists on an excessive amount of cleanliness. I would rather a few twigs be out of place and not have to listen to loud leaf blowers every day. Or maybe a broom would be nicer? I did appreciate the slushies in the main building were only $1 each - that was a nice treat for the kids.

We have been camping at Poncho’s Pond 4 or 5 times and every time is fantastic. The staff are so friendly and helpful. All of the facilities are always super clean. Two pools for the kiddos, a large playground, and the fishing pond is fun.

Such an amazing place. I think it’s the cleanest park we have ever been to! The pools are amazing- we loved the golf cart rental. The sites are huge and level. Overall 10/10!!!

Poncho’s is clean and well kept. The grounds are immaculate. The staff is thoughtful and kind and the facilities are wonderful. People are friendly. Lots of dogs. Quiet hours are kept so the ambiance at night is lovely — even with a lot of families and kids. Already looking forward to the next time!

So clean! Friendly staff. Everything is so well taken care of--campsites, bathrooms, pool, grounds (beautiful landscaping, gazebo) playground. The kids love the nicely paced road to rollerblade, bike and chalk art. We love being so close (15 minutes) to Ludington State Park too. Ponchos might just be our favorite place to camp!
