    We had a beautiful campsite along the River and with the trees turning color, it was gorgeous. Since it is October, the campground hardly had any camper so it was very quiet and private. The restrooms and showers were clean and private.

    The campsite and amenities were great. Would definitely stay again! The only reason I gave it a 4 star were due to the picnic tables. I rented the BTR group site and most of the tables were rotted and had loose boards, making them a bit of a hazard for kids.

    The SR and Vic's staff are amazing and their camp store had a few items we forgot! Making sure we visit at least once a year from now on.

    Little crowded. The site next to us was allowed to park their car on part of our lot and their stuff overlowed into our lot. People constantly cutting through letting their dogs poop in our campsite.

    We were very pleased with every aspect of camping at salmon run campground, the owners are very nice and helpful, this was our first time camping and first time with a new camper,,,, and believe it or not we are both retired,, just decided to mix things up a Bit and go for something we’ve never done ITS FUN

    Great campground. Were only 2 issues that I would fix. The road that goes down into the campground is steep and curvy with a lot of chatter bumps. The second is a group of campers had their music blaring with vulgar language the whole time until quiet time. If I had little kids that would have bothered me more than it did. The road is a county road, so the campground isn't at fault for that and next time hopefully those campers won't be there again. :)

    I can't say enough good things about Salmon Run & Vic's Canoes! The owners and all staff are super helpful and kind. The campground is very clean. The pool was our favorite activity outside of the canoe run we did from Henning Park back to camp. We had an amazing site overlooking the Muskegon River and plenty of friendly campers around us. Stargazing and people watching on their watercrafts from our site were two other highlights. We will definitely be back!
