Silver Springs Campground — Reviews

The older gentleman was so nice and welcoming. We took his suggestion and went to the farmers market which was great! Would definitely come back to spend more time. Land was nice, facilities clean, and overall good people :)! Happy 50 years!!

Super cute little campground. Staff was friendly and helpful.

No flush toilets or showers. Fortunately we had a shaded site, but several had no shade in 96 degree sun. Would have expected more from a campground celebrating 50 years. Camp attendant was very nice.

We had a great time at Silver Springs Campground. The city staff, Kyle and Ken, were both friendly and helpful. Even after check in, they would stop, converse, and tell us what was going on in the area. They answered any questions we had! Campsites were spacious and most had a fair amount of shade. I wish there was a modern restroom with a shower house, but the port-a-potties were clean! If we are ever back in the area, we would consider this campground again.

Very friendly and kind staff member on location. Set up was extremely easy, just wish they had a bathroom/shower facility on site.

Although this was a beautiful campground, the site was not level, making it very difficult to level our trailer.

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the local area and events and the site had a clean water spout nearby, the site overall was great and I will stay again when I’m in the area!

I gave this campground 4 stars for 2 reasons. It was the only place we could find reasonably close to Cuyahoga National Park and it was $67.98 all included for 3 nights. The sites were wonky and dippy in tall grass but there was a nice picnic table and 30 amp electric. We had a huge site, number 11, and we found a fairly level spot near the dusty road for our camper. We were greeted by a very nice attendant. I think his name was Kevin. You more or less get what you pay for and I like a bargain. The visitor center and trail heads at the southern end of the park were less than a half hour drive. It was very quiet and the sites turned over quickly. The dump station was decent. We did not look for potable water since we came in full.

This was a great little campground which provided an excellent base for visiting Cuyahoga NP. The city staff who dropped by to check us in were friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed in site #4 which was level and solid with nice shade. Some sites were quite grassy and sloppy which I could see being an issue if it was wet. We were also close to a water spigot that allowed me to fill my camper from the site with a 50ft hose. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Very quiet and relaxing park. Close to the bike trail which we loved.
