Everything was great except the bathroom. For some reason the temperature in the bathroom was well over 90 degrees. It was unbearable to be in there more then five minutes

The biggest reason for a 4 is that the sites are SO small/narrow. The playground looks great but when you are actually up close for children to play on it, it is falling a part/the materials are disintegrating and rusting. Also, the pool amenity that is included is an INDOOR pool at the hotel and it also is in desperate need of redoing.

Apparently, they charge a new early check in fee, which they haven't done before. And I couldn't find it on their website or anywhere else. They claim that they've always had it, but the old management never charged it. And, also, they charged a pet fee also. It was only $2, but, my question is, why??

We were met with an amazing staff member name Rose. She not only made sure our site was exactly what we wanted and needed but shared the history of her family and their connection to the park and the founding of the family church. The park was extremely clean and offered many amenities. We will definitely be back. We also checked our their other campground, The Hill, and we plan on staying there as well. Beautiful area.

We had an amazing four-day stay at the Hideaway. The spots were a great size, it was all paved and was so relaxing. It was small enough that our kids enjoyed riding their bikes all around. Rose in the office was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the free shuttle to the waterpark and the casino. The only disappointment was that we couldn’t swim at the beach. There was too much seaweed everywhere. But that won’t stop us from coming back. We had a great family vacation and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone else.

Nice pages & great lot with view of lake. Pleasant staff for check in. Clean bathhouse. Soaring Eagle Shuttle bus was nice bonus to casino and pow-wow. Wind was easterly so in lake Beach area was effected.
