Tohickon Family Campground — Reviews

There should be better warnings before the bridge or a highlighted instruction on the email.to use a specific route and avoid the bridge. Also the sewer, water and electricity are at the back of the site, which demands extensions. Tight curve to exit and roads with lost of lower branches on trees.

This is the best campground. Kinda quiet now but a lot of activity in the summer. People are very friendly as are the staff. Close to Quakertown shopping and fishing nearby.

I really like this campground. Very pretty and my site was right next to the creek. It is November and didn’t see too many people around but I was shopping and visiting friends all day. Slept very good! Jane is very sweet! I will come back!

What a beautiful , clean and friendly place! Easy in and out with our class C. Would definitely stay there again. Try the banana nut bread in the general store! So good!

The sites were spacious, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and I won $145 playing Bingo!

Everything was wonderful. Check out is to early. Very hard to have camper packed up and out by 11 am.

I got home a couple hours ago and already miss Tohickon Campground. This was my second time but first time with my pop up camper. Our site was right next to the creek. I was able to launch my paddleboards right behind my site. In the mornings, you'll see a nice sized heron perched on boulder or flying up and down the creek. This campground has everything that you'd want in a campground! But what makes it great is the staff. They are very friendly and hard working. The sites are meticulously cleaned prior to a check-in, I watched the guy who does it. The bathhouse and laundry room was very clean! The campground seems to always be improving and they have cool events in their barn. I just absolutely love it here!!! I can't wait for next :)

It was a nice campground! Only thing I noticed was there was no gate for security on the way in. Anyone pretty much can come and go as they want. Grounds were pretty. Water pressure was good in the full hookup. Staff was pleasant! We would go back. Would Just feel a little more secure if sometime of gate was up to keep ins and outs of campers a little safer.

The camp was very clean and the staff were super friendly. The only downside was upon arrival there was no one to check me in. The direction was to call the number in my welcome package. The only number I received through any correspondence was the main office. Which was closed. Maybe some direction at the camp. Such as location of camp manager or contact info. But definitely not a deal breaker. Will definitely be returning.

The site was perfect! The staff was pleasant! I will most definitely be back!

Big sites. Easy to get to. Only negatives are the site that I was in was hig in the back and low in the front so I had to max out my landing gear to get level and this was with using 9" of blocks. Not sure if the store closed early because it's offseason but it closed a few hours before the posted time

We love this campground! The staff is friendly and the sites are well maintained. It was quiet most days and nights. We will be back again next summer!!

Showers were not good in the women’s bathroom. Could not adjust the shower head, water gets all over, no place to put your soap.

Large site, great people. No complaints.

Pictures very outdated. Most amenities are only available on the weekends. We were booked Monday thru Thursday. We left Tuesday morning and made other arrangements.

Everything was nice except the men's shower needs to be cleaned more often. the floor was disgusting.
