It was a great stay. Not very many people there so the entire campground was open to us. It was relaxing and everyone was nice. Would recommend staying here to everyone.

We had a delightful long fall weekend at Turkey Run Canoe and Camping in one of their cute little cabins. It was the perfect home base for hikes at the state park and a day at the Indiana State Sanatorium. The staff in the General Store and the sister store, Turkey Run Gas and Grill are wonderful people. We will be back in 2026!

It's ok. It rained twice, the sites were rusted and didn't drian. All the sites near us were pure mud. No water, no sewer. I booked a spot for 3 adults, then upon arrival they said I only booked for 2. They charged me an extra $40 despite the original reservation saying 3 adults. There was a dead deer that nobody bothered to clean up so the whole campground smelled like death. They sell you a spot with 30/50 amp service but there is only 1 drop per two sites. Whoever gets it first has the pick of shared service drops. They dont allow you to fill your holding tanks on campereither because of their well. So, you have to got to another place 5 miles away to fillup with water or pay them $75 for water. Overall 2 to maybe 3 stars.

Campsites are a bit small and the bathrooms had no hot water. The store was great, the campground was kept up, the staff was friendly and helpful. My kids also enjoyed karaoke and a scavenger hunt. Quiet hours seemed to be enforced and we enjoyed our stay!

They have a lot to offer and that’s great, but they do allow dogs and while that’s great for a lot of people, it’s not for the people who like traditional camping. Where I live dogs are outside barking to the point I leave my windows closed when it’s nice out and I REALLY want to open them. I was trying to get some peace and quiet but peoples dogs would not stop. I think if they monitored that a little more it could go a longgggg ways.

Super friendly staff and well maintained camp ground. Close to lots of great amenities. On nights you may want more city life they’re really close to several big towns/cities.
