This is a great place right off the hwy. No frills, just straight up camping spot. No trees but grass between spots and out in the back to run dogs on leash or let the kids stretch their legs. Secure with gate code, LEVEL gravel spaces. All spaces are 100 ft, FHU, and quite, we thought. Spoke with owners and they are very sweet. We would absolutely stay here again .

Tropic Hideaway is great, very clean,big spots. The staff is helpful and friendly And while your stay your close to very thing and store you mite need and the beach is just a short drive It’s a great place to stay We stayed the month of April. And will again next year thanks for the great Hospitality

We have stayed at The Weary Traveler multiple times. Unfortunately due to extreme severe thunderstorms with a high tornado chance we couldn’t stay. We checked into a hotel north of this location.

No frills spot, easy in easy out, right off I65. Quick simple reservation and arrived within an hour. Perfect to stop for the night to rest.

The site was nice and clean, however, the electric post only had 30 amp working and we thought something happened to our camper. And only one keg of the 50 amp was worth riding. This we found out after our friend looked at the post and used his surge protector that we found out our camper was okay.
