Founded in 1974, Wheelock Lake Campground is oozing with joyful memories of family friendly recreation, it's place where families and friends return year after year, to live life and make lasting memories.

Offering over 30 of our 100 acres groomed for hiking and ATVs, amenities include fishing, kayak and paddleboat rentals, golf cart rentals, and a children's playground, so there is sure to be something for the entire family to enjoy!

    Standard

    The standard sites are the cheapest option for full hookup lots at Wheelock Lake. Standard lots are mostly back-ins, but they also include a few pull-through lots. Some of these are smaller lots, and some can fit trailers well over 40 feet. Nearly all of them have either 50-amp or 30-amp electric, but not both. Be sure to properly input the length of your RV and use the correct filter for the electricity connection when booking.

    Lot 144 at Wheelock Lake is easily one of the best. The included 2021 Jayco travel trailer sleeps up to 8 and has 2 slide-outs, a large kitchen/dining/living area, stereo speakers built into the awning, an entertainment center, and an outdoor kitchen. The lot also includes a fire ring, a very large charcoal grill, and a dock on the lake.

    Very laid back and clean. Unlike other campgrounds in the area they also had very good water.

    Office staff is very nice and accommodating. Campers were also very nice and pleasant to be around. Camp spot was clean with full hook ups and the camp store had everything we forgot.
