White Oak Marina & Campground — Reviews

The spot was beautiful but disorganized. It was a last available booking just off the parking lot and near the boat ramp. The view of the river was spectacular. The reason for the rating was the loud music from the beer garden until after 10:30 and the lack of a fully functional dump station. The flush water at the dump station was inoperable as the spigot handle had been snapped off some time ago based on the corrosion. When I called to ask of there was another option I was advised to just dump the tank without rinse water. Because I love to leave dry residue to stink up my RV?

We stayed for two nights during the week. It was very quiet and we enjoyed our stay on the waters edge very much. The place is nice with a lot of very well-maintained campers but during the week there are hardly any people at all. Very peaceful. We left on Friday and people were coming in for the weekend and it seems like a very friendly and sociable place on the weekend. We would like to come back for that. Chuck was very nice and gave us some firewood. Definitely like this place. Enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets and watching barges go by.

I love the location and the great people who camp and work there.

Power plug in need of repair and no shut off at plug in point. Tried numerous time to contact 513-502-0657 as we we're arriving late, keep going to voicemail and box was full. No one returned our many attempts.

Beautiful spot right on the river. We enjoyed our weekend there. Was a little disappointed their shower house was closed down but other than that definitely would come back.

The view of the river is fantastic. While a very rustic campground consisting of mostly Seasonal campers all the staff and owner are very noce

nothing fancy here but sides are directly on the water and we enjoyed music entertainment for the weekend. Management is super responsive.

We have stayed here multiple times as we boat on the Ohio river in Higginsport. The sites on the River have great views. One thing to keep in mind that this is a seasonal campground and they have set aside a few sites for transient campers. They have agreat boat ramp

The sites were right on the water of the Ohio river. That was a positive. The negatives are there was very little grass between sites. After it rained, there was mud everywhere. I would recommend to the campground, lengthen and broadened the gravel under and around the campers and put down more grass/sod.
