Whitewater RV Park — Reviews

There were no grills or trash cans at each campsite and all of the gravel made it feel like a parking lot. Other than that it was a quiet, nice little campground.

This RV PARK is new. We arrived in darkness. We were given instructions for the gate, although there were no CLEAR SIGNS, into the park once you arrive- the bridge should have signs! NO CAMPGROUND MAP, NO EASILY FOUND CAMPSITE NUMBERS, NO LIGHTS in the RV PARK. Our site was paved and level. The bath house is very clean 5-stars there. Each shower room is it's own room with sink, shower toilet & mirror, ample space. These are all very minor things, but arriving in the dark was DIFFICULT. Everything else was fantastic! WE will probably return.

Site was level and easy to park on. We arrived after 5 and office was closed. We called ahead and asked if there was anything special we needed to know-;specifically code for facilities. We were advised that a code was not needed. We arrived and found the bathhouse facilities locked. As we were only staying overnight we made do. Drives around sites are gravel and could some leveling.

Nice, new campground with large, level slabs to park on and better than average WiFi. That's good, because my T-Mobile phone had no signal (WiFi calling worked fine though.). My Verizon phone had a weak but usable signal. Great location with the Cherokee National Forest to the east, and the city of Chattanooga to the west. We were there for the fall foliage, and the park was not crowded at all. I bet when the rafting season is in full swing, it's probably a different story.

Great place and very close to ocoee.

They are normally one of the best campgrounds and they recently installed a new grill which is great for those wanting to cook outside.

I enjoyed the campground. Site #1 is a back-in site near the entrance and dog-walking park slightly separated from the rest of the campers. They are clearly doing work to enhance the quality of this campground, doubling the size of the pads and placing gravel on all of the roads. With only 24 sites, the small size of the campground is what attracted me. It's also right next to Chilhowee recreation area and a reasonable drive to many sites. If you enjoy white water rafting, it would be excellent. The quality of my stay was somewhat tempered by the ongoing construction, but the workers were friendly and courteous. I would come back here in the future.

Great bathroom/wash facility. It was easy to pull in and out and good location not too far from rock city and ruby falls.

Lovely park with cement pads. Restrooms and laundry excellent. Only complaint I had was after 3rdcday theu were using heavy equipment to dig up grass and looks like adding more cement. Would have been considerate to phone, email or leave note on RV so I was not so shocked. The noise ruined 2 days of our stay. I am aware this will be done but tourist season but would have been nice to know.

From the moment we pulled in and met Mandy we knew we were in good hands. Being the novice RVers we are ,Mandy helped us thru the set up, calling for backup when needed, that's when she reached out to her sister on the phone. They were both so patient. Then Justin the owner stepped in.. I couldn't believe just how much they all helped us get settled in , Including Billy N Denise, who helped us thru out our stay. Great park, great clean showers and grounds. We will definitely recommend and hopefully return when we can. Thank you for the great experience

Great place to stay! Nice, clean facilities, and spacious level sites. Top notch.

The park was very peaceful. It was nice to have a full hook up and a Level rv parking spot was Great! The park looks to be well taken care of. Had a nice weekend stay. Super hot water in the private stall bath houses. (Unlike some I have been to) Thanks for a great stay!

Great spots, such beautiful views! Had plenty of room…definitely looking forward to coming back!!

Great campsite, clean restrooms

We were pleasantly surprized that two new parks were added in Cleveland. We had been stuck at the KOA in prior visits and 2 years ago during the shutdown and had to abruptly leave. We will return.
