There was no one overseeing what was happening on the property. People were excessively loud past quiet hours. Children were driving golf carts all over the place.

We did not have water the first nite and on the 2nd nite we had very low water pressure and no hot water. I know it was unavoidable because of a water main break but other than that, our visit would have been great.

The campspot was lovely. We were able to check in with ease. However, it seems as if quite a few things were broken. We did not have water at our campsite - the water spigot was duct taped. Not a huge deal, but when you pay more for the campsite, you expect things to work. Also the bathrooms were not well taken care of - toilet paper was all over the bathroom which appeared to happen becaues the coverings were all broken that holds the toilet paper in place. Being a new camper to the area, it would help if the handouts given were accurate - often the locations on the handout were not the location of the event. Other than that, our time was amazing and we will return to give it a second chance!

Facilities were clean. Staff was friendly. I'm not sure this place was good value for the money, in the fall. But without the pool or the water-slides it just doesn't seem worth it. Additionally, the firewood they charged us for was really wet so it took way to long to dry-out on the fire before it started putting out heat. I would recommend buying local, seasoned firewood from somewhere nearby to meet Virginia state firewood quarantine guidelines.
