Great amenities and clean campsite. Helpful staff

Manager was kind and gracious and quickly helped me find a better site for me after I made a mistake when booking. Atmosphere was wonderful and at home. Golf carts were great! Everyone was really friendly and kind, guests and staff alike.

As much as you pay per night here, all Halloween Activities should be free. You shouldn’t have to pay for friendship bracelets or s’mores. Lot spaces are unlevel and bathrooms are in need of repair. Golf cart prices are way too expensive. Your website shows you are almost doubling the rates for 2025 so our group of 13-15 campers will be going somewhere else. Many have come for several years there. Camper sites are the ones decorating your campground for Halloween. Also, the costume contest was so unfair for those children. The young lady announcing each was great; however, everyone could visually see her assistant tell her who to announce as winner by her head tilting and shake of her head. It definitely wasn’t won by the kids who received the biggest cheers. That needs to be worked on for sure. Very disappointed that they didn’t have a hayrides for the kids.

It was great but the bathrooms were not very clean. We arrived on Saturday around 2pm and there was bathroom that was pretty disgusting and it was still like that Sunday morning.

What a wonderful park! We have been coming here for years! Bath house is always clean. Staff is friendly and helpful! There are many great activities for kids. Cheryl at the check-in station was super helpful!! Would love it if the store could be regularly stocked with essentials like eggs and milk.

Great stay. Staff was very nice.

We rented a Cindy Bear 2 room deluxe cabin but very disappointed. The bed was absolutely awful. It made a very loud noise everytime you moved and had a pit in the middle of the mattress. The futun pad slid off, didn't fit properly and was extremely uncomfortable to sit and sleep on. We called maintenance because the refrigerator was not cold enough and we never heard from them for the WEEK we were there. We've trailered there & rented a Boo-boo cabin before but this was a very bad experience. I would never recommend a cabin to anyone! An indoor table would be nice and the oven had never been cleaned before we arrived. I don't know how they can say sleeps 4 . We left early. Very,uncomfortable.

From the perspective of those who might have children it was a great place for activities (pool, splash area, water slides, lake to swim in, river to wade in, rec center, and daily special activities like biggest splash contest. Campground has wireless good enough to stream movies and shows, a cafe, a decent store and some comfort stations. However, our site and a few around us were dirty with trash and cigarette butts lying about, and the pedestals were difficult to determine which was yours. Our site was mostly dirt with a little gravel and not very level. Lots of golf carts zooming by above the speed limit kicking up dust everywhere.

The campsites near the river were very close together with very little space. The ground around the site was very rough and uneven. Some sites are less than desirable. The grounds were not well maintained. The price for the golf cart rental was excessive. Overall, there was an abundance of amenities: nice pool, swimming pond, fishing lake, miniature golf, arcade room. etc. The restrooms and showers were exceptionally modern and clean.

Great campground! We will be back. Wish they talked about the river that is onsite more. Also, need to clean the bathrooms. The only clean ones were in the ranger station.

It was a nice stay because of the location to the river. The only thing I regret is I should’ve made it a three nights stay instead of two. And if you want a golf cart, you need to try to reserve it when you make your reservation. I will be going back again

Would have been 5 but no power at first site. Couldn’t reach anyone, so had to drive down and find someone. They were helpful and put me in a new site that had power

Stayed only one night but everything I saw impressed me. Staff were friendly and professional. I didn't use thebamenities but was impressed with how many there were. Plenty of dogs and all on leashed which is a huge plus. Kids looked like they were having fun. And quiet hours were just that quiet.

Good size sites. Gravel on most of the drive through part, not by the picnic table though. Wi-Fi was spotty. People in store were nice and helpful. Suggest the people driving the gas powered golf carts SLOW DOWN!!!

We only stopped for the night on our way through VA but found it perfect for what we needed. We were next the the bathrooms which were convenient and clean. Nice hot private showers. We did not get to enjoy the numerous amenities but the grounds looked very fun.

We stayed here for a quick overnight stay while passing through, great overnight. Kids loved the pillow and playground, grabbed dinner in the cafe and the wraps were really good and made to order. Lady in the ranger station was so friendly and helpful, wish we could have stayed longer or lived closer would definitely come back! Beautiful views of the mountains driving in. It was April so the pool and splash pad weren’t open yet but looked like a great time when in operation.

It was a fun weekend. But I really thought L3 had cable or have a better able to WiFi service. Especially since the pole next to camper seemed to be WiFi
