Site was beautiful and check-in was seemless! Full service facility for an RV!! Close to everything Newport. Would highly recommend!

Pull through sites are too small and not very level. I did ask maintenance to trim some branches that would scrapped my tip out and he did a little trimming for me. We asked to be moved one spot up from ours which was empty. They said they could not do that, because it would make more work for them. We didn’t get to pick our site. They picked it for us. We stayed 5 days and two smaller class B campers did use that spot beside us. They had no tow vehicles. I am pretty sure they didn’t pick there site. And would have done fine in our site. We did love the Bar Harbor area.

Stayed in Site K26 very tight to back 35 ft motorhome into . Need to trim trees. Many branches overhanging the road and site scratching side and top of motorhome.

Not all camp sites have FHUs. Our site was H-1 which was perfect ocean view site, but no sewer. The roads are narrow, but manageable, and our site was semi-level which required minimal effort to level the RV. I saw many sites that people had multiple leveling props to secure their RV. The showers cost $0.25 for 5 minutes and really could have used some updating as they seemed dingy and cold. The staff was great and very friendly. The Island Explorer bus stop was located at the main entrance which was nice and convenient for exploring Acadia National Park. I highly recommend leaving your vehicle at your camp site and taking the bus.

The campground was beautiful. On the water overlooking the harbor. Very convenient to Acadia and downtown. Quiet and wooded. Will stay again.

Bath house not nice and cost for shower and the fact the water got cold all at once. Really? Charging for a shower where you paid for a stay. Thats like a having a coin machine in your motel room to shower. Restrooms need upgraded.
