We stayed in a cabin for 4 nights. Overall our experience was a great one. The splash park was closed for the entirety of our stay, which was a little disappointing but understandable that sometimes things break. The entire staff with the exception of one were friendly, polite and helpful. The man who says he’s “security” could certainly use a lesson in how to speak to people. I witnessed him on no less than 4 occasions speaking down to people who were “breaking” the rules. One was parked in a golf cart with a child on his lap, the cart was not moving but this man approached in a very aggressive state and yelled at him to “get the kid of his lap” when the man said oh, sorry we were just sitting here he replied that he would take the cart away if he had anything else to say. Very unprofessional, and this was just one example. I watched him harass people the whole time we were there.
More ceramic options would be nice, and more than 3 rounds at Bingo would also be an improvement as the whole thing was over in less than 15 minutes, which was disappointing to most of us there.
It’s a very well maintained campground, check in was a quick and easy process and with the exception of the one person mentioned, the rest of the staff were delightful, especially Zach who seemed to be every where doing it all but always with a smile and upbeat personality.
