It was terrific until some tenters (2 sites) came in late (after 10pm) and were so noisy setting up. I understand that setting up a couple tents is a light requirement and talking BUT these goys next to us started a fire and then proceeded to talk loud and laugh and carry on. I wanted to sleep as I was leaving early (7am) to continue my trek. I barely slept. At 2am they were still chatting and laughing around their fire. It was a bummer for me. BUT the park was lovely and the peepers were too until these guys pulled in beside us. Very disrespectful in my opinion. I didn’t want to complain because we were only there to basically sleep and leave. My husband wouldn’t let me say something to them. I just shut the windows and put earplugs in. It was after 1am and they were still chatting and laughing. Basically it was a bummer.

Decent site, friendly staff and adequate, clean facilities ( bathrooms, laundry room). Grandkids enjoyed the biking trail but avoided the beach due to geese/ seagull excrements on the grass and beach.

Great as usual. Staff are always pleasant. I was reading some of the negative reviews and most of them are left by entitled city people that thought they were going to stay at a 5 star hotel. "outdated washrooms" lol, they are sufficient for your needs. I use them every time I go camping and have survived with the fact that it isn't new tiles with heated floors and a bidet. Yes showers are closed overnight and I'm sure there's a reason. If you can't follow simple rules of a campground, stay in the city. Hahaha
