Situated in the heart of Muskoka, High Falls Bay is a place like no other. At 50 feet tall, with crests of up to 100ft, the iconic High Falls Waterfall is one of the largest and steepest in Ontario. It is known as the "Niagara of the North". Along the perimeter of High Falls Bay, you will find 3 other Waterfalls, smaller in size but equal in beauty, that can be accessed through scenic walking trails on the property.     Our beachfront campsites are located on the edge of Muskoka river directly in front of our sandy beaches. Campsites are equipped with a picnic table, a fire pit, and hookups for electricity & water. Campers have access to communal on-site restrooms, showers, and BBQ (tank not included, rental available on site).     Our wilderness campsites are nestled back in the woods away from the river with more privacy for each campsite. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire pit. Some campsites have water hookups. Wilderness sites DO NOT have power. Campers have access to communal amenities including on-site restrooms/showers our beach/waterfront.     Our standard coach rooms each have 2 Queen beds, a full 4-piece bathroom, a kitchenette (cooktop, sink, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker) and dining area, TV and sofa, covered porch with seating, and a propane BBQ (tank not included, rental available on site). The coach rooms are accessible by our private road, with parking for up to 2 cars right next to the unit. Our standard coach rooms are located closest to the falls of all of our buildings, and the front-facing patios are an excellent spot to enjoy the view or the gentle rumble of the falls in the distance. The Large Pod is a 7' x 20' unit with double bed, private washroom with toilet, shower and sink. Floor to ceiling windows with special glazing allow for excellent views from inside the unit while maintaining privacy. Outside the unit there is a picnic table and private fire pit.     The campground was a dump, and it took forever for anyone to get to the gatehouse. The park is clearly not maintained very well, as there’s garbage and machinery left everywhere.

    The actual setting is beautiful on the river. However most of site is run down. Owner decided Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning were good time to work with his huge piece of construction equipment. Clearing bush! Go figure when we paid tohave a quiet weekend camping. Then owner thought it ok to get in hot tub with our 6 young girls. They thought he was creepy. We won't revisit.

    Great place and a great atmosphere. The water could use more fish is the only drawback. Beautiful place and my kids loved it.
