    Campground is open April thru October. Only one tent is allowed per site. Rates are up to four (4) people. Additional people - $5.00 per day. Age five (5) and under are free. A two (2) night minimum stay is required on weekends & holidays. Check-In Time: 3:00 p.m./ Check-Out Time: 11:00 a.m. Early check-in is not permitted without prior approval from management. Our comfort station, which has restrooms, showers and sinks is centrally located in the park. There is also a laundry facility with washers/dryers and a dish washing sink. Fish cleaning is not allowed in the dish washing sink. Firewood Quarantine: The transport of firewood is a primary cause for the spread of certain harmful pests. That's why we recommend that you do not bring your own firewood to the campground. We encourage you to buy it at or near the park and be sure to burn all the wood before leaving. Quarantines have been issued by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to restrict the movement of firewood from pest-affected counties.     Cabin is only available from April - October, during our camping season. Sleeps 4 people. No smoking. Pets are allowed. $50 non-refundable pet fee, per pet, required. (two pet maximum) This cabin is somewhat between camping and a cabin and sits right on the campground lake. Outside has a charcoal grill and picnic table for your convenience. Cabin has electricity, but no running water, bathroom or kitchen. Water is available a short distance from the cabin. There is a bunk bed, double bed, small table and two chairs. Bathroom is available at the comfort station. Linens are not provided. * Cabin rate includes four (4) people. Extra person is $5 per person, per night.     Fantastic!

    Very peaceful and relaxing. There was NO internet in the campground and NO channels with our antenna. It rained the whole time so this became more important than usual. The site was ok. I don't think we will be back. Though everyone was very nice and helpful, there is nothing special about this campground. But it's worth a stay. If you're planning to hike up to the falls this location is perfect.

    Montebello is a very quiet campground, we enjoyed our stay there. We visited the Walton’s museum, it’s about an hour away from the campground. The Crabapple falls nearby are also worth seeing. Montebello has a very nice store and the staff is very friendly.
