Niagara Shores Campground and Conference Center — Reviews

The view is amazing when parked along the Lake. It looks like they are trying to clean it up and make it more presentable to guests. The trees block satellite signal and would benefit a campers perspective if removed. The dumpster is on the other side of the park and not easy to find. (Very minor annoyance.) Overall, we would stay there again, it was quiet, peaceful and the campers were respectful and our site was not bothered while we were away from it as tourists. A 4 star rating because when trying to reach by phone or email, response was delayed. Also, when traveling with animals for Niagara Falls, most excursions were dog friendly as long as your dog was not reactive. I would recommend this campground to friends and family.

The roads leaving the site were muddy and rutted making it risky getting out. The cabins looked deserted as well as the mini golf course that was embarrassing. The view and the sounds of the shore at night made up for the aged campground. No cell service at all and no WiFi. Bring a book

It was quiet and relaxing

Overall a very nice campground. Staff that I dealt with were very friendly and very helpful. Will stay again if we are camping in this area.

The sites were backed up against a Lake Ontario bluff. We enjoyed just relaxing and watching the lake as well as sunsets. Since they only have a handful of sites it was very quiet.

The view and quiet are perfect after a day of site seeing.

I was locked out of the app and couldn't find my campsite. I had to my another reservation because if no customer service. Im still locked out if the app.

Clean. Courteous and friendly staff

Absolutely gorgeous! My back window opened to lake Ontario, sunset view of Toronto. So quiet and peaceful. Glad we are coming back through the same campground on our way home.

We thought we had a campsite closer to the water and the site we were assigned stated “pull in”. When we pulled the camper in, we had to carefully maneuver the truck so we wouldn’t hit the cabin in front of us to park the camper and had to pull some stealth moves to get the truck out while the camper was parked so we could leave the campground. The weather wasn’t the best, so we left a day early after a not-so-great weekend.

Very peaceful stay for mid September

It was quiet and relaxing. Good location to the flls and other activities.

This has to be one of the most peaceful camp grounds I have every been to. The views are beautiful and picturesque. It is extremely quiet, there are no wild parties. We stayed in the Hickory cabin. It is a very nice cabin and so reasonable priced. It is one if the more secluded cabins. You feel like you're in a cabin in the woods with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff and owners are very friendly and personable. We will definitely be returning.

The site itself is fairly pretty. We were able to set up our campsite easily and the views are beautiful. The showers/bathrooms are also very nice and clean. Unfortunately they arent staffed well so some of their amenities they talk about weren't even open. I also thought I would be able to get to the shoreline, but from what I could tell on my walk, there is no way to get to it. The RVs get the best views. I was tent camping and was incredibly confused on their bathroom location. It is a decent walk away from the tent campers, but closer to the RVs who would have their own bathrooms? There is NO CELL RECEPTION so even if you have an issue with other campers (we did!) there is no real way to try and inform them. Overall it was an okay place to stay, but definitely not worth the money in my opinion. Especially considering the low staffing issue causing things we thought we would get to have access to being unavailable, but still paying for it.
