Disappointed. Chose this place because of all the fun amenities listed on the website, but the mini golf was closed, shuffleboard abandoned, children's play area contained buildings with broken windows, never even found the supposed gym and activity center but I suspect some of it may have been there just was never open. We stayed in the actual hotel not a campsite, and the room itself was okay, beds were comfy and room was spacious, but there were only 3 tv channels, and with no cell service or wi-fi it made it not so fun. Also no way to reach anyone that worked there because the front desk never seemed to be open and there was no phone in the room, so we were supposed to text if we need something but there is NO service there. Also no mini fridge in the room, even though there is a spot for it. The worst part is I was charged for a better room, and they switched it to a cheaper one, but instead of refunding me they gave me “camp credit”. I will never be staying there again so I’m not sure what to do with that. Trying to get my money back for the difference (almost $200) but we’ll see. If you’re going there just to camp and don’t care about any of the amenities at all, it might be great for you. Nice view of Lake Ontario but no actual access to it.
