It was great, very nice! The only thing I wish is that they had WiFi and without cell service there is no way to call family

Nice campground; unkempt site

Crabtree Falls is what brings us to Montebello again and again, but several sites certainly challenge even the most experienced campers. The two gals at check-in were pleasant and helpful, but the campground sites need to be maintained better. In order to get our camper level, we had to dig a good amount just to create a landing for our steps, which still led right into the embankment leading to the picnic/campfire area. A more gradual incline or some steps would make getting to picnic area easier and safer. While we spent much longer than we normally do to set up because of the site, we did have a wonderful weekend making good memories at Montebello.

Lovely lake, great site, quiet guests

I loved the layout of the campground. It provided privacy and quality time with my family. The campground is also very beautiful.

Customer service great. Camp host was very friendly. The only thing that I would recommend bathrooms need to be upgraded and cleaned more often. Overall we had a great time and will be back next year.David Harsh

Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved our site on the lake. Well stocked trout pond. We enjoyed our catch.

The campground is well maintained. The staff is very friendly. We really like the lake and trout pond. Looking forward to coming back next year.

The road (Hwy 56) getting to the resort was a bit hairy with a 40' MH and toad. Checkin was easy, but the site (#6) we were given did not work for us. We were either level and able to put out our slides, but no ability to hookup or we could hookup and could old put out 2 slides. After trying to position for nearly an hour we talked with the camp host and he was surprised our rig even fit! Most our size do not even stay. We wish we had known prior to reserving. He was able to get us into site 10, which was much better, but wven to get into that aite we had to pull into site 9, (which was luckily open) and back into site 10. I think he was able to accommodate because it was mid-week in September. It was a very nice level spot. Be warned, there is NO WIFI here!

Had a great time at this campground. Sites were nicely spaced out. Lots to do at the campground and surrounding areas.

Quiet, peaceful but no WiFi to allow us to call our kids. It was called a "resort" but that name does not fit (at least my definition of resort) as it was a normal private campground with only the pond as an amenity. The kayak and paddle boats were included, which was nice.

Fantastic time, great camp host. Beautiful, remote, relaxing. Will return.
